Pickleball Court

Located at Van Cortlandt Park S &, Putnam Ave W, Bronx, NY 10463, Pickleball Court operates as a tennis court serving Bronx in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Pickleball Court at (212) 639-9675; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, nycgovparks.org.

Its Google rating stands at 2.7 out of 5 from 6 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bronx is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
